Scope

This standard specifies the types and basic parameters, design, manufacturing, test methods, and inspection rules of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders for motor vehicles (hereinafter referred to as vehicle cylinders), as well as their marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to vehicle cylinders with a working environment temperature of -40 °C to 60 °C, a nominal working pressure of 2.2 MPa, a pressure test pressure of 3.3 MPa, and a nominal volume of 1 L to 240 L, which can be refilled with liquefied petroleum gas.
