Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designation of high-temperature stainless bearing steel, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to the manufacture of hot-rolled or forged round steel, cold-drawn round steel, and steel wire (hereinafter referred to as "steel") for stainless bearings that can withstand high temperatures of 300°C to 400°C.
