Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for the management of in-use industrial boilers by the management institutions and personnel of the units where they are used, including operational safety, energy conservation, and environmental protection management, boiler installation, modification, and repair, regular inspections, accident reporting and investigation, emergency response plans and drills, usage registration and changes, and evaluation of boiler safety, energy conservation, and environmental protection management.
This standard applies to the management of in-use industrial boilers by the units where they are used within the scope of Shanghai City (hereinafter referred to as "the user units"), and can also be used by the supervision and management departments of special equipment safety, energy conservation, and environmental protection for safety supervision, energy conservation inspections, and environmental protection supervision of the user units.
