Scope

This document specifies the safety requirements for the design and manufacture of pelletizing machines, and provides relevant instructions for the safe use of the machines.
This document applies to all major hazards, dangerous states, and dangerous events associated with pelletizing machines during their entire life cycle (see GB/T 15706-2012, Clause 5.4), during their intended use, and in the case of misuse that can be reasonably foreseen by the manufacturer (see Appendix A).
This document applies to pelletizing machines from the outer edge of the feed inlet to the outer edge of the discharge outlet.
This document does not cover:
—— Hazards arising from the discharge of materials that may harm health during processing;
—— Hazards caused by the ignition of flammable residues in the processed materials;
—— Requirements for exhaust ventilation systems.
