This part applies to automatic and semi-automatic equipment used for analysis and other purposes in laboratories.
Automatic and semi-automatic laboratory equipment consists of instruments or systems used to measure and modify one or more characteristics or parameters of samples, and the entire or partial process does not require manual intervention. Equipment that forms part of this system is applicable to this part.
