Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for low-voltage docking connectors used in mobile energy storage units, including their structure, mechanical performance, and electrical performance.
This standard applies to low-voltage docking connectors (hereinafter referred to as accessories) installed or fixed on electrical equipment. These accessories are intended for connecting mobile energy storage units to dedicated power conversion units, energy consumption units, or other energy storage units.
These accessories are intended for direct current use and may include grounding contacts and/or optional signal and data auxiliary contacts. The rated current of these accessories does not exceed 800 A, and the rated working voltage does not exceed 1,000 V d.c.
These accessories are not suitable for plugging and unplugging under load. These accessories are intended to be installed only by professionals (GB/T 2900.73-2008, Definition 195-04-02) or technicians (GB/T 2900.73-2008, Definition 195-01-01).
The listed preferred ratings do not exclude other ratings.
This standard applies to accessories used in the environments specified in Chapter 32.
These accessories are intended to be connected only to copper or copper alloy cables with or without plating.
This standard also applies to accessories intended for use under very low voltage.
In special environmental conditions, such as on vehicles, additional requirements may apply.
These accessories are intended to be used with specific charging systems.
Additional requirements may apply to conditions other than operation, such as GB/T 28164 and Article 38.338 of the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods.
