Scope

This document specifies the classification and models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, transportation, and storage of AC high-voltage shore power boxes (cabinets). This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, inspection, and application of AC high-voltage shore power boxes (cabinets) with a nominal system voltage exceeding 1 kV but not exceeding 15 kV, a rated frequency of 50/60 Hz, and a rated current not exceeding 4,000 A (hereinafter referred to as high-voltage shore power boxes (cabinets)).
