Scope

This document specifies the ordering, materials, manufacturing, inspection and testing, and marking of corrosion-resistant alloy continuous tubing.
This document is applicable to the manufacture and inspection of corrosion-resistant alloy continuous tubing (hereinafter referred to as "tubing") used in oil and gas wells. The steel grades of the tubing in this document include CT55-CRA, CT60-CRA, CT70-CRA, CT80-CRA, CT90-CRA, CT100-CRA, and CT110-CRA. The outer diameter of the tubing ranges from 25.4 mm to 88.9 mm.
Note: The types of corrosion-resistant alloy materials in this document include martensitic or martensitic/ferritic stainless steel, ferritic-austenitic stainless steel, iron-based corrosion-resistant alloys with austenitic microstructure, and nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloys with austenitic microstructure.
