Scope

This document specifies the type, parameters, models, technical requirements, test methods, qualification indicators, inspection rules, installation and protection, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of aluminum-lined carbon fiber fully wrapped gas cylinders for containerized and stationary compressed hydrogen applications. This document applies to rechargeable gas cylinders designed and manufactured for operating temperatures of -40°C to 85°C, used in containerized or clusterized storage applications such as containerized transport gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as containerized transport gas cylinders) and hydrogen stations, as well as rechargeable gas cylinders fixedly used as storage containers (hereinafter referred to as stationary gas cylinders): a) Containerized gas cylinders: Nominal working pressure of 30 MPa to 52 MPa, nominal volume of 150 L to 450 L; b) Clusterized gas cylinders: Nominal working pressure not exceeding 35 MPa, nominal volume of 40 L to 150 L, and the total volume of gas cylinders on the clusterized device not exceeding 3000 L; c) Stationary gas cylinders: Nominal working pressure not exceeding 70 MPa, nominal volume of 150 L to 450 L.
