Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions related to the environmental protection design of the mechanical structure of electrical and electronic equipment, the categories of environmental conditions, the classification of environmental parameter groups and their severity levels, the application of environmental conditions in products, the general guidelines for environmental design, the selection and design of chemical treatment layers and electroplating layers, the selection and design of coating layers, and other aspects of environmental protection design.
This standard applies to the mechanical structure of electrical and electronic equipment (hereinafter referred to as mechanical structure), and can also be used as a reference for the environmental design of mechanical structures in other electrical and electronic technology fields.
This standard does not involve content related to environmental awareness and environmental protection, and is therefore not applicable to design in the field of environmental awareness and environmental protection.
