The chapter of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following content: This document specifies the safety of multifunctional shower rooms and standalone multifunctional shower equipment for household and similar use. This document applies to multifunctional shower rooms and standalone multifunctional shower equipment used in household and similar settings, with a rated voltage of not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and not more than 480 V for other appliances. This document also applies to appliances that are not intended for general household use but may still pose a danger to the public, such as appliances used by non-professionals in hotels, fitness centers, and similar venues. The common hazards of the appliances covered by this document are encountered by all people in residential and surrounding environments. However, in general, this document does not address: -- The following groups (including children): ● Those who cannot safely use the appliances unsupervised or without guidance due to physical, sensory, or mental impairments, or ● Those who lack experience and knowledge. -- Situations where children play with the appliances.
