Scope

The chapter of GB/T 4706.1—2024 is replaced by the following content.
This document specifies the safety requirements for disinfection cabinets for tableware used in households and similar applications.
This document applies to disinfection cabinets for tableware used in households and similar applications with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, and also applies to disinfection cabinets for tableware used in households and similar applications with electric heating, ozone disinfection, ultraviolet radiation (only as an auxiliary method), and combinations of the above disinfection methods.
The common hazards of the appliances covered by this document may be encountered by all people in and around residential areas. However, in general, this document does not consider the following situations:
——The use of the appliances by unattended children and disabled people;
——Children playing with the appliances.
