The chapter of GB/T 4706.1—2024 is replaced by the following content.
This document specifies the safety requirements for deep fryers, frying pans, woks, and other cooking utensils using oil for domestic and similar purposes.
This document applies to deep fryers, frying pans, woks, and other cooking utensils using oil for domestic and similar purposes with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V and a maximum oil capacity not exceeding 5 L.
This document also applies to utensils intended for general domestic and similar purposes and which may also be used by non-professionals in shops, light industry, and on farms. However, if the utensils are intended to be operated by professionals to process food for commercial purposes, then these utensils are not considered to be solely for domestic and similar purposes.
In practical terms, the common hazards associated with the utensils covered by this document are ones that all people in residential and surrounding environments may encounter. However, in general, this document does not consider the following situations.
