The chapter of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following content:
This document specifies the special requirements for the safety of electric heating mattresses for household and similar use.
This document applies to appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, control units supplying power to the appliances, and control devices provided with the appliances. It also applies to appliances that are not intended for general household use but may still pose a risk to the public, such as those used in community spas or in environments with low ambient temperatures.
In practical terms, the common hazards associated with the various appliances covered by this document may be encountered by everyone in and around residential environments. However, in general, this document does not consider the following situations:
