The chapter of GB/T 4706.1—2024 is replaced by the following content:
This document specifies the safety requirements for appliances for household and similar purposes equipped with emitters that radiate light with a wavelength of 100 nm to 1 mm to the skin.
This document applies to single-phase appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, and other appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 480 V for household and similar purposes equipped with emitters that radiate light with a wavelength of 100 nm to 1 mm to the skin.
Note 101: Battery-powered appliances and other DC-powered appliances are within the scope of this document. Dual-power appliances powered by the grid or batteries are considered battery-powered appliances when they operate in battery-powered mode.
