Scope

This standard specifies the safety design of reciprocating internal combustion gas power stations (hereinafter referred to as "gas power stations" or "power stations"), including the safety design of buildings, the safety requirements for the selection of gas generating units, and the safety design of gas supply systems and power transmission and distribution systems.
This standard applies to the engineering design of land-based fixed reciprocating internal combustion gas power stations with a total installed capacity of not less than 500 kW, which mainly use natural gas, coalbed methane, biogas, straw gas, coal gas, and gas as fuel.
Power stations with a total installed capacity of less than 500 kW may refer to this standard for implementation.
