Scope

This part of GB/T 20936 specifies the performance requirements for open-path flammable gas detectors. These detectors perform their detection function by measuring the spectral absorption of flammable gases or vapors in the environment within a range of one meter to several kilometers in the optical path. The detector measures the content of gases absorbed in the optical path and expresses it as an integrated concentration, with the unit being the concentration multiplied by the path distance. For example, the detection of flammable gases is indicated by LE.L.m.
