Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, structure, materials and connections, requirements, test methods, marking and user warning labels, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, and storage of electromagnetic gas emergency shut-off valves (hereinafter referred to as "valves").
This standard applies to electromagnetic gas emergency shut-off valves with a nominal size not exceeding DN300, a maximum working pressure not exceeding 0.4MPa, an operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C, and capable of interfacing with urban gas safety control systems.
